Honestly, this pandemic has introduced a new variant of stress into my life! Between balancing post-graduate education, an unstable portfolio at work, a new boyfriend who may or may not be my soulmate and a total elimination of my typical stress-relievers because of public health regulations, I COULD WRITE A BOOK.
So I will
I haven’t quite worked out the details of my commitment yet but I do know that I want it to represent me. There are so many parts to me that I would love to share. It is my intent that young women and men will read it and be comforted that someone else has been through what they are experiencing. That they can be reassured that they will get through their challenges regardless of the obstacles before them. I need it to be something that can guide… a place of solace… a place of escape.
There are a number of things that I myself haven’t experienced and I will also interview other persons and tell their stories… if they’ll have me of course. The thought of it has me a bit excited.
I wanted to be so many things when I was younger (including journalist/flight attendant/advertising agent) and I still want to be sooo many things at this age. What’s one of the most important things to me is mental health and this outlet will definitely support that.
I’m going to discuss family, relationships, friendships, employment and unemployment, medical conditions, chronic procrastination, spirituality, fitness and a whole heap of other topical issues! I can’t wait to get started!
For now, I have to get back to my MBA assignment due in 6 days but.. WE GOT THIS!
